Dr EP Scarlett Music Parents Association has entered into a fundraising agreement with the Calgary Sport and Entertainment Corporation to raise funds for band and choir activities.
Parents and band members (15 and over) can fundraise in various capacities at Flames, Roughnecks, Stampeders and other special events at the Saddledome and McMahon Stadium.
Depending on the role, Fundraisers are “paid” between $49 – $95 for each shift worked. This amount is placed in your child’s band account to cover tour and other expenses. Roles include Runner, Stand worker and Stand Lead and shifts vary between approximately 4-7 hours long (the longer the shift the more money earned).
All fundraisers must take several trainings prior to working any shifts, these include:
– in person orientation at the Saddledome
– WHMIS (online or in person)
– Food Safety (online)
– ProServe (online) if over 18 years old *cost of $25
