Choir students and parents/guardians, please see the following message from Mr. Bell:
As you may or may not have heard, the Dr. E.P. Scarlett Choir has been asked to sing at the Calgary Hitmen game scheduled for Friday December 8, 2017, at the Scotiabank Saddledome. This promises to be a fantastic event and we are extremely excited to have the opportunity to be part of this collaboration billed “Carols for Christmas” by the Hitmen organization.
Have participated in last year’s event, we feel that this is an excellent opportunity to not only share our selections and perform but to also engage in the spirit of the season.
I have been in touch with the Hitmen to secure a spot for the evening. We now need a final confirmation of numbers. Due to the fact that the game is in a a few short weeks, I need these forms back Friday November 10th at the latest. Included in these forms (attached) is a confirmation that your son or daughter will be participating in the event, in addition to a spot to request additional tickets for friends and family. Although choir members will have free admission to the game, tickets for all others will be offered at a reduced rate of $12 each. Please make cheques payable to the “EPSMPA”.
Other information that I have at this time also indicates that in addition to singing during stoppages in play, there are also a limited number of spotlight performances prior to the game and during intermissions. As soon as details are provided to me, I will be forwarding that information to you.
