The EPSMPA Advantage Revealed!

Are you craving power, control and prestige?  Your local EPSMPA (EP Scarlett Music Parents Association) Executive is pleased to offer you an opportunity to obtain all these things*—and more— at a special meeting tomorrow night (May 8th) at 6:30 pm, in the Scarlett Teacher’s Lounge.

The EPSMPA Executive is a collective of Music Program parents who, when they are not discussing the San Jose Sharks Stanley Cup woes or critiquing celebrity fashion choices, work together to make Scarlett’s Music Program the best it can be.

Music Parents are needed to fill three (3) key positions for next year: Chair, Treasurer, and Volunteer Coordinator.  What do these positions entail?  Let’s find out.

  • Chairperson: Responsible for chairing monthly meetings and preparing the agenda. Coordinates activities of EPSMPA and serves as liaison between music directors and EPSMPA.
  • Treasurer: Prepares budget with music directors, reviews tour budgets, prepares financial statements, maintain EPSMPA financial records and student tour accounts.
  • Volunteer Coordinator: Responsible for coordinating volunteers for the various activities and field trips of the EPS music program.

All parents of Music Program students are welcome to attend the EPSMPA monthly meetings—particularly the one tomorrow—and provide their input and feedback.  Hope to see you there!

*Disclaimer: Positions on the EPSMPA Executive give you none of these things.
