It’s time for the annual gathering of Music Parents at EP Scarlett, where Mr. Bell gives us his tips for a flaky pie crust and Mr. Brown reveals his favourite ABBA song (surprisingly, it’s not ‘Thank You For The Music’). Following is what you need to know.
When you say “Tuesday”, do you mean this Tuesday, the 10th of September, 2019?
Sure do.
And “mandatory” means…
…at least one parent/guardian from each family must attend.
As you are no doubt familiar by now, the CBE requires parents/guardians to attend informational meetings for overnight trips taken by students. Your attendance at this one meeting will cover your obligations for all of the camps and trips this year.
Will anything else be discussed?
You’ll also learn more about the Music Program fundraisers, student travel accounts, and the EP Scarlett Music Parents Association (EPSMPA).
Sounds amazing and I can’t wait! What time and where do I show up?
Have to say, we’re loving your enthusiasm! The meeting will start at 6:30 pm, taking place in the EP Scarlett Theatre. Please arrive a few minutes early so you can sign in and confirm your presence.
Will there be cake?
We get this question a lot and we considered it, but then we heard that you did not finish your dinner, AND fed your green beans to the dog. So there will not be cake, and as soon as the meeting is done (around 7:30 pm), it’s into jammies and bed for you.
What about clowns?
Absolutely no clowns allowed.
