Well, well, well…is what we hope you’ll say when Karen Part, Chair of the EPSMPA, asks, “How’s everyone doin’ tonight?! Whoo!” as she kicks off the Music Program’s Annual General Meeting at 6:30 pm this Thursday night.
That’s right: THE Karen Part will be in attendance to explain the EP Scarlett Music Parents Association’s (EPSMPA, for short) roles and goals within the Scarlett Music Program as a whole.
Also in attendance: THE Paul Brown and THE Jonathan Bell, the program’s Music Directors and all-around swell guys. Paul and Jonathan will be discussing the plans for the program for this year and what that looks like in these ever-changing times.
Additional information will be provided on fundraising and opportunities to off-set the cost of camps and trips through volunteering with the Calgary Flames, as well as updates on uniforms and details on how those will be sized and distributed.
Will there be requests for volunteers? You betcha! We are in desperate need of a Treasurer, a Vice-Chair, and members-at-large so start preparing your acceptance speech now.
One representative from each family is asked to join the meeting but if you want to gather the household together, pop some popcorn and settle in and make a night of it, who are we to dissuade you? Everyone is welcome! And strongly encouraged to attend!
