Get A Head Start On Your 2019/2020 Fundraising Efforts

If you’ve ever thought, “I wish there was some sort of fundraising venture where I can raise funds to help offset my Music Program expenses, primarily taking place in the evenings or on weekends, something that’s easy to do but also requires black pants and ball cap”, then please sit down and remove your shoes, because we are about to knock your socks off.

EPSMPA has partnered with the Flames organization to provide an opportunity for parents and their children to volunteer in a number of capacities at Flames, Hitmen, Roughnecks, and Stampeder games.  The roles involve running cash, pouring beer, cooking and serving food.  As a volunteer, you are paid, tax free, $49-$79/shift into your student’s travel account.

It is a fantastic opportunity to get started when your student is in grade 10 so you can earn credits towards trips for all 3 years.

The next training session for potential volunteers will be held in the summer and fall of 2019.  The shift availabilities are primarily for parents and/or students who are 18+, however there are also a decent number of shifts for those under the age of 18.  All adults will be required to be ProServe certified which will be explained at the training session.

Please let Mark Kuipers, our Flames coordinator, know if you have any questions or are interested at epsmpaflamesvolunteering@gmail.com.

The earlier you receive your training and ProServe certification, the earlier you can start snagging those sweet, sweet, Saddledome shifts.  Don’t delay!  E-mail Mark today!
