In view of the recent announcement by Alberta Health Services, we are postponing the Moonlight Knights Gala that was scheduled for April 9. Our priority is the health of our students and their families.
Those that purchased tickets will receive full refunds. Tickets purchased via Paypal will be refunded to the credit card used for payment within the next few days, while those that paid via e-Transfer will be issued a cheque.
As we anticipate holding this event as soon as it is feasible to do so, the Gala Organizing Committee will store donations that had been collected for the gift baskets and from the student canvassing, and will continue to accept donations up until March 19. If you donated a gift basket item that you wish to have returned to you, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. The draw for $50 for families that contribute an item for their assigned gift basket will proceed as planned on March 19; all other prizes are suspended for the time being.
We will be contacting businesses that donated items for the Auction, to confirm that their donation will be used at a later date.
Any student groups that did not yet complete their canvassing should not proceed. ALL student groups are asked to return their canvassing packages—the two envelopes with letter, donation records, and maps—to the Music Room office.
Thank you to the 2020 Gala Organizing Committee, who have worked many hours for several months planning this event, and to all the students and families who provided their support in various ways. When it does go ahead, we look forward to seeing you there!
